FINALLY OFFICIAL: Arsenal Has Unveiled Another €30M Signing Today

Oleksandr Zinchenko’s long-term contract with Arsenal has been officially announced by Manchester City.

The international from Ukraine soon agreed to personal terms with the Gunners, and this month, a £30 million cost plus add-ons were agreed upon.

Zinchenko’s impending departure from the Etihad was confirmed by City manager Pep Guardiola on Wednesday, and the issue has now come to an end thanks to Arsenal.

“We’re really glad Alex has joined us,” stated Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal. I am familiar with this player and have followed him ever since I left Manchester City. Alex is a top-notch player who will give us diversity and alternatives.

His versatility in both attack and defense is just as important as the positions he can play. I’m happy that everyone put up such a significant effort to welcome Alex to the club because he possesses excellent human attributes and character.

“I’m extremely happy to see how we’re working as a team here in the club,” the technical director Edu continued. We devised a strategy early on, with Oleksandr Zinchenko serving as the primary objective. We’re happy to have Alex on board because he possesses the qualities that, in my opinion, will raise the caliber of our team.

Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko both moved from Manchester to London this summer. Arteta and Zinchenko were previously Guardiola’s assistants at City.

Although the 25-year-old is a midfielder by trade, Guardiola frequently utilized him at left-back. He will be able to cover in defense when necessary, but it is anticipated that he would play more centrally at the Emirates.
