Breaking News: Edu can hijack Man United's target to give Arsenal key leverage

Arsenal still need to increase the firepower amongst Mikel Arteta’s options next season despite the recent arrival of Gabriel Jesus. The best way to do this will be to attack the transfer market.

One player that can be signed to enhance the Gunners’ attacking options is Paulo Dybala. The Argentine can be acquired on a free transfer after his contract with Juventus expired at the start of July.

However, a deal for Dybala will not be easy as, according to Sky Sport, Manchester United are currently in talks with the forward. Still, Arsenal have recently registered interest, and it is certainly a player that Edu should look to hijack from Erik ten Hag.

Italian news outlet La Repubblica recently reported that Arsenal are set to battle it out with Manchester United to secure Dybala’s signing. Napoli are also said to be interested in completing a deal.

The 28-year-old has scored 115 goals in the 293 games for the Turin-based side and has played a significant part in the team’s Serie A title-winning seasons. He has also been a regular for the Argentina national team making 34 appea rances.
